Visit Philadelphia: Black Greek Edition

Explore Philly with itineraries from prominent Philadelphians who are members of Black Greek organizations….

We think Philadelphia is a must-visit destination (no kidding). But don’t take it from us — take it from Philadelphians who are members of historically Black fraternities and sororities, who want you to experience the best of the region’s history, culture, food, drink and fun.

In the brand-new Visit Philadelphia: Black Greek Edition video series, proud and prominent members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council® (NPHC) — an umbrella organization composed of nine historically Black fraternities and sororities known as the Divine Nine (if you didn’t know) — invite residents and visitors to explore Philadelphia for their next getaway.

The videos — shot in locations around the city that are significant in the Black and/or NPHC communities — feature trip suggestions, things to do and more from 15 local NPHC members.

Each participant also offers up customized Philadelphia itineraries for visitors, sharing their favorite museums, restaurants, shops, concert venues and other businesses — many of which are Black-owned.

Pro tip: Before your visit, make sure to listen to Love + Grit to discover so much about what drives Philadelphians to greatness. This Visit Philadelphia podcast celebrates all of the cool things about the city and region that you should know — and that you should check out on your visit.
