Independence Hall

During the blistering summer of 1776, 56 courageous men gathered at the Pennsylvania State House and defied the King of England.
Eleven years later, representatives from 12 states gathered to shape the U.S. Constitution, finally creating one unified nation.
Note: Independence Hall is accessible for ticketed timed tours only.
Rich in history, there is tons to explore at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Independence Hall is also part of the U.S. National Park Service and Independence National Historical Park .
The guided tour of Independence Hall, led by National Park rangers, begins in the first-floor courtroom where lawyers from opposing sides shared tables and law books.

As of May 2022, Independence Hall is open to the public via ticketed tours only.
From May 28 through June 18, 2022, Independence Hall extends its hours to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays only . From 5-7 p.m., no tickets will be required to visit Independence Hall.
From June 19 through September 5, 2022, Independence Hall will remain open 7 days a week until 7 p.m. From 5-7 p.m., no tickets will be required to visit Independence Hall.
