No fooling here: April might be the biggest month of the year in Philly (so far), with awesome events and things to do popping up in every corner of Greater Philadelphia.

April sees colorful springtime celebrations like the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival in Fairmount Park and Spring Blooms at Longwood Gardens.

The Philadelphia Phillies take the field in South Philadelphia in April for the first time since last year’s incredible World Series run, looking to recapture the magic of that unforgettable Red October.

Speaking of magic, Disney100: The Exhibition lifts the curtain on 100 years of Disney whimsey at The Franklin Institute, offering a behind-the-scenes look at some of the biggest movies and moments in the history of the House of Mouse.

Break out the stretchy paints, because April is also bursting with delicious deals and foodie festivals. Dine Latino Restaurant Week returns with can’t-beat offers at Latino-owned restaurants throughout the region, and the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival takes over Main Street with more than 50 restaurants and local food trucks slinging sweet and savory treats.

At the end of the month, it’s off to the races as the Penn Relays return to historic Franklin Field for a day of elite high school and collegiate competition and more than 40,000 runners hit the streets for the Blue Cross Broad Street Run.

Make your visit extra special with a sumptuous hotel stay. Extend the love by booking the Visit Philly Overnight Package and get free hotel parking and choose-your-own-adventure perks, including tickets to Disney100: The Exhibition at The Franklin Institute, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, or the National Constitution Center and the Museum of the American Revolution. Or indulge in the new Visit Philly 3-Day Stay hotel package, which includes buy-two-get-one-free hotel nights at participating hotels.
