Eagles Pop Ups & Pep Rallies in Philadelphia

Miller Lite Toast to the Eagles! on the Battleship New Jersey : Two words: free beer. Hop aboard the Battleship New Jersey at noon on Saturday, February 11, 2023 to toast the Eagles’ winning ways with a free Miller Lite for all attendees 21-plus. The free toast is followed by a celebratory firing of the ships’ five-inch guns. After enjoying your crispy beverage, stick around to take a tour of the historic ship. Note: While the Miller Lite Toast event is free, tickets are required for tours of the ship (Battleship New Jersey, 100 Clinton Street, Camden, NJ).

It’s a Philly Thing Pep Rally at Fashion District Philadelphia : Stop by the Fashion District Philadelphia on Saturday, February 11, 2023 for a pre-Super Bowl pep rally from 1 to 4 p.m. Expect plenty of games and giveaways, a DJ hyping the crowd up with lively tunes and — appropriate for the setting — an Eagles Fashion Show! Let’s see those game day ‘fits, y’all! The Fashion District is teaming up with Philly Fashion Week to hand out up to $500 in prizes for the most creative Eagles outfits. Enter at “The Cube” entrance at 9th and Market streets for the football festivities (Fashion District Philadelphia, enter at 9th & Market streets).

New Birdfeed 2023 Mural on South Street : During the Eagles’ last run to the Super Bowl in 2018, Philly artist Meg Saligman sent the internet into a frenzy with her Tom Brady-bashing mural in Bella Vista. The artwork, which featured Tom Brady in the clutches of a giant bald eagle, captured the hearts of Birds fans everywhere. Now, Saligman is back with an updated mural for the 2023 Super Bowl run. Keep an eye out for Birdfeed 2023: It’s a Philly Thing , which is currently in progress on the walls of 2nd Street Consignment on South Street. The mural is currently being painted on a wall facing 5th Street and will be completed by Super Bowl Sunday. Snap a selfie with Eagles players on the Rocky Steps : Runners, visitors and Rocky impersonators have some company these days on the iconic staircase leading to the Philadelphia Museum of Art . The museum has installed giant cutouts of four Eagles stars along both sides of the steps. Get into game mode by snapping a selfie with star quarterback Jalen Hurts, strip-sack king Brandon Graham, “Big Play Slay” Darius Slay Jr. or the Slim Reaper DeVonta Smith.

The Bird Dog from Dietz & Watson : Hear us out: cheese-covered hot dogs served on green buns. Interested? Did we mention they’re free and served out of a giant, roving Birds-mobile? South Philly’s Cacia’s Bakery and Dietz & Watson are teaming up to sling limited edition Bird Dogs at spots throughout the city ahead of Sunday’s showdown. The hot dogs — served up on Kelly green rolls from Cacia’s — are topped with long hots, provolone (or spicy cheddar) cheese and crunchy fried onions.

To avoid lines and overcrowding, the stadium-adjacent spot is going ticketed-only for game day. Indoor tickets for the 21-plush bash have already sold out. But with weather looking OK for February, the party is extending to the outdoors, with firepits, multiple outdoor bars, picnic tables and the game screening on a 34-foot LED screen. Tickets are still available for the outdoor viewing experience only (1100 Pattison Avenue).
• The Ultimate Watch Party at Punch Line Philly : Cheer on the Birds at Punch Line Philly as they hope to get the last laugh over Andy Ried and the Kansas City Chiefs. DJ Aktive provides some pregame entertainment and Hornitos offers a complimentary tequila tasting from 6-7 p.m. This is a ticketed , 21-plus event, and doors open at 4 p.m. (33 E. Laurel Street).
• South Bowl’s Super BOWL Party : This ticketed, 21-plus party puts the “bowl” in Super Bowl. Catch all the action on 12 giant screens throughout the South Philly facility, while bowling with up to five friends. Tickets include shoe rental and at least one guaranteed game for each group (up to six people), draft beer and sangria, and an open buffet (think pizza, sliders, and wings) from kickoff through the third quarter (19 E. Oregon Avenue).
• The Big Game 2023 Watch Party at Rivers Casino Philadelphia : Catch the Big Game on a seriously big screen at the BetRivers Sportsbook inside Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The $40 entry fee grants you access to an all-you-can-eat buffet, $2 Miller Lite specials and some super swag. Reservations are required. Note: The price jumps up to $50 per person after February 10, 2023 (if tickets remain) (1001 N. Delaware Avenue).
• Free Watch Party at Warehouse on Watts : This 21-plus watch party is free to attend, and reservations are not required. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the festivities, which feature the game screening on a giant projection screen and drink specials from Montucky Cold Snacks (billed as a beer flavored beer). An added bonus: It’s a short walk to Broad Street for post-game celebrations (923 N Watts Street).
